Classic Camping Gear, Backpacking Stoves
It’s been 40 years since I purchased my first Optimus Hiker and they’re still making them. My camping gear has always included that reliable old stove with it’s familiar brass tank. The look is slightly different today and it’s a bit easier to use multi-fuels in the backpacking stove. It’s also the one stove we always seem to run out of and is in short supply - there are still those that grew up on this stove and keep getting it.
